Mechanical movements are less accurate than quartz, with a daily deviation range from -15 seconds to +30 seconds. Which is considered normal. When The movement stops completely and cannot be reactivated. Or has a daily deviation beyond ±10 minutes range. Which we can proceed to after-sales service.
The standard for Englemaan's quality checks on movement is ±5 seconds range on daily deviation. Under the position of watch being vertical, 12 o'clock is up and 6 o'clock is down. Which is the position how watches are usually worn. However, some might rest their watches flat on the desktop or use other less accurate equipment to test. In a rather bizarre position that eventually getting a way bigger deviation. This, is still considered normal for watches' performance.
ANTI-MAGNETIC
Watches with special symbol marked on dial, have magnetic field protection of 80000A/m, approximately the equivalent to 100mT or 1000Gauss. Without it, magnetic interference can greatly affect the accurate timekeeping of the watch.
Magnetic interference comes in various ways from daily life. Such as magnetic seals on refrigerator doors; strong magnetic components in speakers; motors and sensors in automotive. However, certain medical equipment like MRI machines (equivalent to 1.2 to 8 million A/m) are not able to be protect against. Please do not use the watch in such environments.
HARDEN COATING
All of our watches are scratch resistant. With a hardness scale range from 900 to 1000HV in Vickers hardness test, approximately the equivalent to 65 to 70HRC in Rockwell hardness test. For stainless steel prior the process, it would usually fall between 150 and 200HV. Which is much softer than hardened tool steels or ceramics.
This extra layer of coating will protect your watch from minor accidental bumps and scratches. Keeping the appearance good as new from repetitive daily wearing. However, the harden coating cannot withstand impact, puncture, slashes or substantial force in similar form.
In another words, we cannot guarantee it will absolutely have no scratches after use. Especially in physical contact of sharp objects with higher hardness scale. Such as diamonds in jewelry that you may wear along the watch. With up to 10000HV hardness on diamonds, it can still create scratches on our products. Plus, high polished finishing is more likely to suffer on above practices. Please do not use the watch in such ways.

Regarding Shipping to U.S.A.
With the daily changing CN to US import policies. US designated orders will remain to be no additional fees to be paid at check out. We will be pre-paying export duties at our own expense for these orders. Due to it being an requirement to ship towards US as destination country.
Be that as it may, upon parcel's arriving at the destination. Make sure you keep close attention to its shipping status. If any documents or fees were asked during customs clearance. We can therefore better assist you for a smoother delivery.
For example, shipping to OCONUS regions (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and other U.S. overseas territories). Or using Express Shipping in general to any region of US. You still need to pay for import duties/tariffs or handle customs clearance upon import procedures. Import fees and such were requested by the courier companies or regional customs. And they are operated individually and separate from each other. For which we cannot control.
Please consider thoroughly before purchasing from all US regions or using Express Shipping.
Can you ship to my country/region?
It depends on the specific situation at the time being. Due to certain inevitable forces, the general shipping time could be delayed beyond than expectation. And therefore more fees will be charged on shipping due to the difficulties might occurred.
Such inevitable forces, including but not limited: Natural disasters, fire, flood, explosion, atmospheric disturbance, lightning, heavy rain, volcanic eruption, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, landslide or epidemic. Social disturbance, war, riot, civil war, blockade, insurrection, act of terrorism or other activities alike. Industrial disturbance, strike, lockout or other activities alike. Governmental acts. Including decree, law, statute, ordinance, rule, regulation or order. Issued by any governmental agency, any entity, or any court having jurisdiction. That could directly or indirectly affecting the performance of shipping. Therefore, we are not responsible for parcel lost and consequential compensation in aforementioned situation. Hope you can understand.
When will my order ship?
All orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days. But there are special occasions that depends on inventory and specific time. Meaning, when there is a product shortage or holiday/weekend break we will only ship afterwards. We usually have large amount of orders stacking up during our weekend break. After coming back to work on Monday, it would take us a day or two to fully process them. More so after a long holiday break.
To fulfil an order being creating shipping label, packing and shipping. And we need to process orders that come after that, which was placed every day. However, we do process orders chronologically from early to present, with Express ones prioritized. Please rest assured. Once an order is executed, a notification E-mail will send to you automatically. (Could be blocked by spam filter, please check all folders)
For Express orders placed before off-duty hours, we will do our best to send them to our shipping agent. They will usually receive them overnight. Then these parcels will be distributed accordingly to courier companies' local warehouses at that day late night. Eventually have the tracking number generated in the afternoon or supper time next day.
However, do remember to notify us if you are planning to move or not available to receive in near future. Same situation can be applied to major holidays. Where your receiving location can be closed for days. We are not responsible for parcel's late retrieval and consequential compensation. Because of your non-disclosure. Hence, we do not accept any urgent order due to the uncertainty of shipping.
We normally put hold to orders if there are edits on details not confirmed. Or confusion on either end of customer/seller around order or item not resolved. For when parcel shipped there is no room to intercept or do anything anymore.
What's the shipping fee?
When an order's item value is under 100$, fees for Standard Shipping is 15$. Express Shipping is 60$ at the lowest regardless of item value. Free Standard Shipping when the order's item value is above 100$. Express Shipping courier companies include but not limited: DHL, FedEx and UPS.
Said shipping fees can only cover certain situation. If the parcel is over-weight or shipping to remote areas. And eventually, exceeding our cost per order. Much like the 60$ pricing we set for all country/region Express shipping. We will still need customers to add in according price difference to balance our costs. Otherwise we cannot proceed in order fulfillment.
Remote regions could be anywhere from land to island considering the distance. And here is a remote location list from FedEx for your reference. If you live in certain remote places or having a substantial order. Please contact our customer sevice first before purchasing.

P.S.1 We use shipping agent to carry out our Express Shipping service. They will let us know what is going on all over the world. Which country is having what kind of restrictions now. And what kind of delivery is best suited for each and every order.
P.S.2 For Standard Shipping, VAT on shipping is partially pre-paid but only for certain EU countries. However, for Express Shipping VAT is not pre-paid for all countries/regions.
P.S.3 Our pricing does not include tax, import duties or costs as such for entering your country. Hence, we are not responsible for any import document submitting as well. Please do so on your own in timely manner.
How to track my order?

For Standard Shipping they normally travel as below workflow. Our office - logistics supplier domestic warehouse - CN customs - possible third country reroute - destination customs - logistics supplier oversea warehouse(for certain country, not all) - local relaying post service - possibly ends in a packet station to collect or directly to recipient. Logistics suppliers don't use their domestic services expanded to global. They sign contract with foreign, but to you it is local, shipping services. Just to relay a parcel from one country/region to another. You will need the local post tracking number to get accurate information.
Express Shipping on the other hand, they usually take off directly from either Mainland or HK airport. Then to the destination country/region. Be that as it may, there could be reroute for re-fuel or cargo pick-up. Previous of that, please check above paragraphs where we explained further on Express Shipping matters.
When will my order arrive?
Under normal circumstances. It depends on your very own choice upon checkout. Also the destination country/region. For Standard Shipping, it usually takes 2 to 3 working weeks to arrive. But that is only our extended estimation. You can ask our customer service for past record on delivered orders to your country/region as reference. We do support shipping upgrade. You can always purchase the Express Shipping upon checkout.
In addition to that, many country have their own rules for unsuccessful delivery or temporary storage of parcels. Please keep close attention to the status of your parcel. And contact your local post service when need be. Otherwise we are not responsible for your inaction upon delivery notification, parcel pick-up or timely retrieval. If your parcel seem to be in stuck of status update, try using the international tracking number. Which can be acquired from our staffs.
More to EU customers, or simply customers from all countries in general. It would be the best if you can provide a local country tax ID number, or any ID reference in similar form. As the checkout page suggested. For the parcel can move faster and with less re-routing in the journey. Therefore, saving you time and possibly extra fees.
Miscellaneous
Signature service cost extra in both Standard and Express Shipping. If it was not requested by the customer we would keep the option off by default. Same situation can be applied to insurance service. And these services are limited in few countries too.
Hence, please have the surrounding of your delivery address guarded or monitored. To prevent or better solve any thievery or missing parcel incident. Otherwise we are not responsible for such situation were to happen.
Plus, if you have a gated block in your community/property to avoid or prevent strangers trespassing. Please leave the access code or methods to get in, and it is to the actual postman that has the parcel. Since we cannot convey such message onto the shipping label. Or to the local relaying post service directly. For they will not totally listen. Please note this.
Due to many country/region and their local post service rules and policies. We cannot guarantee your parcel will be delivered to-door all the time. Some time it will need you to go and pick it up from a packet station or post office. Such as DHL from DE, Royal Mail from UK and many to be listed. Please understand.
Also the local post service may or may not notify you with every single step of shipping update. Neither does our built-in tracking system. Because it is merely FOR tracking. Not entirely up to date and totally accurate. Hence, please keep close attention to the status of your parcel. And contact your local post service when need be. Otherwise we are not responsible for your inaction upon delivery notification, parcel pick-up or timely retrieval.
Because we have customers coming from many culture and country/region all over the world. We merely process orders from its provided information and have them became as written form onto shipping labels. Nothing more and nothing less. If your watch experiences issues within the warranty coverage, please send it back to our after-sales department for inspection and repair.
To ensure a smooth after-sales service, please provide the following material along with warranty card that has valid information in the return parcel.
- Corresponding customer's name, order number, shipping address, phone number and Email address regarding such product.
- A detailed description of the issue. Including the possible cause, when did it happen, how did it go, how many times it occurred, can it be reproduced and etc.
Within Warranty Coverage
Within 365 days from the date of purchase (i.e., the date wrote on warranty card), and non-human-induced issues after our investigation. These are eligible for free after-sales service. "Free" refers to the labor and material costs of the repair. We cannot reimburse the shipping cost of you returning the product over to us. Please bear such cost of shipping the product back for after-sales service on your own.
Non-Human-Induced Issues as:
- Detached hands or indices/hour markers.
- The movement stops completely and cannot be reactivated. Or has a daily deviation beyond ±10 minutes range.
- Broken or detached crystal.
- Broken steel bracelet.
Beyond Warranty Coverage
- Wear and tear under normal use, on leather straps, steel bracelets, rubber straps, synthetic fiber straps, crystal surfaces, outer bezels, crowns, batteries, or electroplated surfaces on metal. Above examples are not covered.
- Caseback opened or having the watch repaired by third parties than us, is not covered.
- Pre-owned product bought from different marketplace than Englemaan official store.
- Exceeded the 365-day warranty period is not covered.
Warranty and Repair Fees
Within the warranty period and coverage, there will be no charges for labor and materials consumed during the after-sales service.
Beyond the warranty period or coverage, we will charge base on our labor and materials consumed during the after-sales service. As well as manufacturer’s inspection report.
Please note, we cannot reimburse the shipping cost of you returning the product over to us. Please bear such cost of shipping the product back for after-sales service on your own. We will cover the shipping cost to return the product to you after the service completed.
Warranty and Repair Duration
Generally, the repair process can be done within 60 working days. Calculated from the date of receiving returned product.
Replacements
If it was before shipping, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want. Is to contact us first for your desired item. Then we can proceed to order editing or re-purchase. If the item was already shipped, and you wish to have a replacement. We request that you return your purchase for a refund. Once the return process is fully completed, you may re-purchase at your convenience. Return instructions please see below.
Returns
If in fact the merchandise itself was defective. You have 7 days to return your purchase at your cost. Please contact us at contact@englemaan.com first. And we will assist you with your return. And your order/item/service is covered under our one-year warranty, start by the date of purchase (UTC+0800).
However, do remember, this only works for new and unworn merchandise, may not wear, alter, size or otherwise use the item you are referring to. Also in comprehensive picture proof for documentary purposes. And lastly the approval of our staff. We do not accept after-sales issues raised by purchase that you are not satisfied BUT without any quality issue. And please do not ship to unauthorized address that we did not approve. In that way we are not responsible for your return/replacement request.

By customizing merchandise, definition to be interpreted from us aka Englemaan. By not reading our product listings and policies pages fully which leads to wrong comprehension of service/product. We also will not support after-sales service for such situation other than quality issue. For that, we strongly advise a thorough inspection on our listing, the order you placed, the information you leave at check-out AND another thorough inspection for received items. Return/Replacement Instructions
Please send your return to our provided address. Details can be acquired from our customers service. We recommend you insure it against loss and use sufficient packing material to prevent damage in transit. We request that you obtain a signature on delivery, and keep a copy of the shipping label. The item is your responsibility until we verify it arrives at our facility. Note that a "delivery" notification from the shipping company is not sufficient, as they do mis-deliver packages. Only a signature from our staff, and a copy of the label, can be used for delivery proof and subsequent refund.
If you are located outside of Mainland, China. Please follow the same instructions. But remember to declare the item as a “return item” for customs purposes. To ensure we do not pay taxes on the return parcel. Any taxes you might have paid for delivery upon its re-entry to your country, we will not reimburse you. Similarly, we will not accept any incoming replacement/return parcel with delivery fees to be collected at recipient, which is us. As well as occurring taxes or similar fees going through customs, this we will not pay. It is on the parcel's shipper end, which is you, to bear.
Please return the item in the exact condition it was shipped to you. Make sure receipts, hang tags or stickers that came along in the package are all in place. No protective contents can be removed, and item must still be sealed in original packaging. Also include any packaging, warranty card, manuals, etc. If there are any signs of wear, we will refuse the return. You will be responsible for the cost of rejected return shipping.
